As a Medical Contributor (“You”) agree to allow OtoNotes (“Author”) to publish posts written by You (the “Posts”) on the OtoNotes website (“otonotes.com”). You grant the Author the non-exclusive, worldwide right to publish on otonotes.com, syndicate, and distribute all or a portion of the Posts in any language, worldwide. You grant the Author the non-exclusive, worldwide right to include the post in reprint, adaptations, modifications, collection of articles or other publications including social media. You grant the Author the right to use Your name, likeness, information about You, and the logo of Your web site, if applicable, in connection with the Posts.
By submitting a Post to be published on otonotes.com, you grant the Author all rights, including copyright, for all of the Posts. You will be credited for your Posts on otonotes.com as a Medical Contributor.
You represent and warrant that You have the right to grant these rights; that the Posts are original; that they do not knowingly contain any untrue statements, invade any right of privacy, or infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright or otherwise violate the rights of any third party; and that all statements in the Posts that are asserted as facts are true and/or based upon reasonable research for accuracy. You warrant that any parts of the Post taken from other sources will be cited appropriately aknowledging the original content.
You agree to cooperate in the defense of any legal action brought against OtoNotes from the publication of the Posts. You agree to reveal to OtoNotes any actual or potential conflict of interest, including but not limited to any financial interest in any product, firm, or commercial venture relating to the subject of the Posts. OtoNotes reserves the right to remove from otonotes.com any of the Posts that violate its publishing standards, available on the Terms of Use Agreement.
OtoNotes may illustrate the Posts. You grant OtoNotes the right to edit the Posts for publication.
MODIFICATION
The Author may, in the Author’s sole and absolute discretion, modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement in whole or in party at any time for any reason without any notice to you, whether prior or otherwise. Such modified terms and conditions shall supersede these terms and conditions and shall become binding when published online on the Site.
By submitting posts to OtoNotes, You indicate acceptance of these terms.
